Roma defender Juan has apologised for the two dreadful errors that led to their 2-1 defeat at Sampdoria.
The Brazilian came off the bench with his side leading 1-0, but his mistakes gifted Samp a penalty and Stefano Guberti's winner.
“I am so sorry,” Juan told Roma Channel. “We were having a great game and my mistakes changed everything.
“I basically lost the match by myself! I can only apologise to everyone.
“I wish we were playing again tomorrow, as when there is a setback, you want to get straight out there to make up for it.
“I apologised to my teammates in the locker room, because we all knew how important this game was.”
