Stefano Mauri has bid farewell to Coach Edy Reja after his Lazio exit. “I want to thank him for all the years we had together.”
The tactician had already offered his resignation in February, but made his departure permanent at the end of this season.
“I want to salute Mister Reja and thank him for all the years we had together,” wrote midfielder Mauri on his official website.
“We achieved some great things and I was fortunate enough to be trained by a serious professional and a good man. Best of luck, Mister.”
A replacement has not yet been chosen, but potential candidates include Gianfranco Zola and Roberto Di Matteo.
