Rodrigo Palacio is edging closer to an Inter switch after the Genoa player’s agents met with the Nerazzurri on Monday evening.
Reports yesterday suggested that an €11m fee has been agreed between the two clubs and it seems that personal terms have now been ironed out.
The Argentine, 30, will allegedly sign a three-year deal with the San Siro giants a year after the Beneamata failed to initially sign him.
Genoa sporting director Stefano Capozucca yesterday admitted that the South American was heading out of Marassi.
“Palacio has asked us to be sold,” he told Tele Radio Stereo. “He’s a wanted player, but you need three components to complete a transfer – a buyer, a seller and a player.”
The former Boca Juniors forward has scored 19 goals in 32 League games this season. He’s also of interest to Napoli and Roma.
