The representative of Hernanes is adamant that the Lazio midfielder will remain in the Italian capital over the summer.
Although he’s been contacted by other clubs, the agent insists that there have been no discussions about a summer switch.
“In February I met with President Claudio Lotito,” Joseph Lee is quoted as saying. “Back then he told me that he doesn’t want to sell Hernanes.
“A lot of people have expressed an interest in him, but that was only talk. No club has opened proper transfer negotiations for Hernanes.
“He will stay at Lazio.”
The Brazilian, signed from Sao Paulo in 2010, was being linked with an exit given the way he was used this term.
The South American scored eight goals in 31 League games, but he was replaced in 21 of those ties and was fielded as a substitute in another four.
He will be working under a new boss next term though seeing as Edy Reja has now resigned.
