The agent of Mauricio Pinilla says that it will take time for Cagliari to do a deal with Palermo for the striker.
The Chilean joined the Sardinian outfit in January on loan with an option to be signed outright for €3m.
Although Rossoblu chief Massimo Cellino has admitted that he wants to keep the player, Pinilla’s representative is calling for calm.
“The President has been very clear,” Francesco Caliandro told Calcio News 24. “There is a desire to sign him, but we’ll have to see what happens.
“There is plenty of time and we can’t and will not be rushed into anything. You need patience to do deals like this one.
“It seems that the Press are in more of a hurry than we are…”
Pinilla, 28, scored eight goals in 14 games for Cagliari. He only bagged two in 13 for the Rosanero before his switch at the start of 2012.
