Clarence Seedorf is reportedly on the verge of joining Brazilian club Botafogo as his Milan contract runs down.
The midfielder is available on a free transfer given that his deal at San Siro will expire at the end of this month.
Reports from South America claim that negotiations have already taken place and that a switch is on the horizon.
Seedorf has been linked with moves to the country in the past given that his wife is from Brazil.
The 36-year-old made 29 appearances for the Diavolo in all competitions this term. He scored three goals.
The Dutchman joined Milan in 2002 from city rivals Inter. He’s also featured for Ajax, Sampdoria and Real Madrid in his career.
