Inter have officially confirmed the transfer to San Siro of Genoa’s Argentine striker Rodrigo Palacio.
Agreed in principle a fortnight ago, as the Grifone's Enrico Preziosi revealed then,  the Nerazzurri have today completed the capture of the 30-year-old former Boca Juniors star for a fee believed to be in the region of €11m.
A brief statement on the club’s official website confirmed that papers for the player’s contract with Inter have now been handed over to the Lega Serie A, finalising the striker’s transfer.
Palacio, who netted 41 times for Genoa in 100 appearances, has signed a deal with Andrea Stramaccioni’s team until June 30, 2015.
