Maxi Lopez has admitted that he has a footballing dream – to play for new Italian champions Juventus.
The Argentine is available for transfer this summer after Milan opted against taking up their option to sign him outright from Catania.
“If I had to tell you of my dream, then I would say Juventus,” the 28-year-old told Tuttosport when asked about where he would like to play next.
“I will meet with my agent at some point this week and he’ll give me the latest on my future,” the South American added.
“I know that there has been some contact with Torino and with some foreign clubs. I won’t exclude anything – I can play anywhere.”
Lopez joined the Diavolo on loan in January, but was only able to score two goals in 11 games. One of those came in the Coppa Italia against Juve.
