Sampdoria President Riccardo Garrone has ruled out reports of an exchange between Valeri Bojinov and Nicola Pozzi.
It was rumoured in the Italian media last night that a deal was on the cards for Samp and Parma to swap strikers during the January transfer session.
“No. It is absolutely out of the question,” replied Blucerchiati President Garrone when asked about the possible move.
Samp have already drafted in Federico Macheda on loan from Manchester United after handing Antonio Cassano to Milan.
Garrone was also asked to comment on any more transfers during the January window.
“We'll see,” was his only response.
