Genoa star Domenico Criscito's agent has warned Milan “he is the best Italian left-back, so the price-tag is high.”
This morning the Rossoneri were linked with a bid for Criscito in the newspapers, as his versatility makes him an ideal replacement for Alessandro Nesta.
“For now I have received no contact from Milan, so it is all newspaper rumour,” agent Vincenzo D'Amico told Radio Sportiva.
“I believe that President Enrico Preziosi spoke with Milan Vice-President Adriano Galliani several times in Brazil over the past few days, but I don't know what they discussed.
“Criscito is the best Italian left-back, so the price-tag is certainly high, but I leave that kind of suggestion to Genoa.”
The club have already sold defender Andrea Ranocchia to Inter and could release the other Italy international.
“The thing about the transfer market is that it changes every day. I cannot make predictions. We just have to keep our ears close to the ground and follow the evolution of the market.
“For now Criscito is concentrated on Genoa.”
