Parma have confirmed the sale of their half of Sebastian Giovinco back to Juventus, for a fee of €11m.
Reports emerged today [12] that the two clubs who co-owned the 25-year-old star had reached an agreement for the Gialloblu to hand over their 50 per cent, claims later backed up by the player’s agent. [13]
The news is now official, as Parma released a statement via their official website, announcing the transfer.
It represents a return to Turin for Giovinco after two years with the Ducali. The attacking midfielder is a product of Juve’s youth system and has already made 37 appearances for the outfit. Giovinco netted 22 goals and assisted a further 14 in 64 League appearances for Parma.
