Devis Mangia has admitted that he has held talks with Siena about possibly replacing Giuseppe Sannino at the club.
The latter has left the Tuscan outfit this summer for Palermo after masterminding their survival in Serie A this season.
“I have spoken to Siena,” Mangia, sacked by Palermo in December, told Sport Italia. “However, I don’t know what they will decide.
“At this moment in time I am not in discussions with anyone else, also because there are not that many jobs left right now.”
It was believed that Serse Cosmi was the favourite to get the nod after he left relegated Lecce earlier this month.
Meanwhile, according to Sky Sport Italia, Siena officials held talks with former Juventus boss Gigi Del Neri last night.
