Serie B side Brescia are adamant that Parma are leading Juventus in the race to sign Omar El Kaddouri.
“As far as I am concerned, he is a Parma player,” President Gino Corioni told Brescia Oggi. “It’s is true that he wanted to join Juventus, but he then agreed terms with Parma who have a deal with us.
“Juventus spoke to the player and that was fine, but Parma subsequently made me a more consistent offer.
“If Juventus call again then I’ll listen to what they say. But, for now, the matter is closed – El Kaddouri is a Parma player.”
The attacking midfielder grew up in the Anderlecht youth ranks before a switch to Brescia in 2008. He spent the 2010-11 season on loan at Sudtirol-Alto Adige.
Lazio and Fiorentina have also been paired with the 21-year-old.
