Manchester City captain Vincent Kompany has questioned Milan’s decision to let Andrea Pirlo leave the club on a free transfer.
The Diavolo didn’t offer the midfielder a new contract last summer and he subsequently joined Juventus on a Bosman.
In less than a year, he masterminded the Old Lady’s Scudetto victory and he’s been immense at Euro 2012 so far.
“Milan believed Pirlo was finished and let him go to Juventus,” the Belgium international stated on his Twitter account.
“He has now won the title with Juventus and leads his country to the Final. He’s a top player.”
