Ex-Milan star Clarence Seedorf has officially signed a two-year contract with Brazilian club Botafogo.
The Dutchman had been a free agent since the Rossoneri allowed his contract to expire this summer.
The 36-year-old insisted he was ready to continue his playing career and had been linked with clubs in the Premier League, MLS, Dubai and China.
“Seedorf has signed a deal for two years with Botafogo. It is the biggest contract for a foreigner made by a Brazilian football club,” read a statement from the Rio de Janeiro outfit.
He has links with Brazil, as he already has a home in the country and spends much of his vacation there.
