Former Chelsea defender Khalid Boulahrouz is considering a transfer to Serie A new boys Pescara.
The 30-year-old is available on a free transfer after his contract with German club Stuttgart was not renewed.
“There is a negotiation taking place,” agent Alberto Faccini told Sport Italia. “Boulahrouz is considering the transfer, but we have to wait and see what the player decides.”
The Dutch international started his career at RKC, before moves to Hamburg, Chelsea and Stuttgart. He also had a loan spell in Spain with Sevilla.
Boulahrouz was part of the Holland squad at the 2010 World Cup.
