Devis Mangia has confirmed that he has held talks with more than one club in recent weeks, but denies that the national Under-21 team are one.
The former Palermo Coach has just completed his Pro Licence training at the renowned coaching school at Coverciano and has been linked with a number of roles this term, including replacing the outgoing Ciro Ferrara on the Italy Under-21 bench.
However, the 38-year-old bracelet-wearing tactician denied having had any contact with the Italian Football Federation.
“I’ve not been contacted by anyone in the Federation to propose to me the role with the Under-21s, so I will not talk about things that are non-existent,” he exclaimed on Radio Mana Mana Sport this Thursday.
“I’m going on vacation now, but I do miss the field. I have spoken in recent months with both Siena and Padova, but for various reasons have not reached an agreement with either.”
