Rodrigo Palacio has been presented to the Press as an Inter player today and is optimistic for the future.
The Argentine striker joined the Nerazzurri at the close of the 2011-12 campaign from Genoa. Whilst he was close to making this move 12 months prior, Palacio has chosen to only look ahead with the club, rather than think to what could have been.
“Nothing materialised last year, but the important thing is being here now,” reflected the Argentine at his unveiling today.
“With Stramaccioni I just spoke, he welcomed me and for my teammates I will get to know them day by day.
“Inter are a great team and we will fight on all fronts, we hope to celebrate many successes at the end of the year.
“I have not talked about technical issues with the team yet, after my signing, I have only just been welcomed here.”
