Serie A side Palermo have confirmed that the club have handed over Matias Silvestre to Italian giants Inter on a loan deal.
The two teams have been in talks over an €8.5m move, but the Rosanero have today revealed that the stopper has not signed on a permanent basis.
The Nerazzurri have netted the 27-year-old centre-back on a temporary basis, but with the option to sign him outright next summer.
It is believed that if the Beneamata keep the player then they will pay the Sicilian club €8m in four-yearly instalments.
