Napoli have held tentative talks with Milan about selling Andrea Dossena, claims the player’s agent Roberto La Florio.
The wing-back was the subject of discussion between the two clubs, but there is no indication whether either party wishes to take the prospective transfer any further.
La Florio revealed: “I spoke to Napoli, and they have had a chat with Milan, but Dossena’s contract lasts until 2014 so it is up to them.
“If Napoli decide against keeping him then a new scenario will open, especially considering we are talking about an experienced player who plays in the delicate position of left-back – and players of his type are difficult to find in this market.”
Dossena found his route to Napoli’s first-team blocked by Juan Camilo Zuniga last season so his future is up in the air.
