Pippo Inzaghi may continue his playing career with former club Atalanta after leaving Milan last month.
The 38-year-old quit the Diavolo at the end of his contract and was offered a coaching role within the club’s youth sector.
However, the 2006 World Cup winner is said to be considering an offer from the Bergamo outfit whom he represented during the 1996-97 campaign.
During 33 games that season, Super Pippo hit 24 goals which earned him a summer move to Italian giants Juventus.
Atalanta are understood to have offered him a 12-month playing contract with an option to become a youth team Coach for 2013-14.
