Napoli have confirmed that they have sent young defender Ignacio Fideleff to Parma on an initial season-long loan.
The 23-year-old joined the Partenopei last summer, but struggled last season to play much of a part in Walter Mazzarri’s plans.
Parma’s interest in the player was confirmed midway through last week [12] and it became apparent that a deal was on the cards when Fideleff departed Napoli’s pre-season camp. [13]
A deal has now been confirmed via the Azzurri’s website, with Parma taking the player on an initial 12-month loan basis, with a future fee agreed for the Ducali to purchase 50 per cent of the centre-back’s contract.
