Palermo President Maurizio Zamparini has hit out at the agent of Federico Balzaretti. “He only thinks about money.”
The full-back, who impressed for Italy during Euro 2012, is of transfer interest given that his contract in Sicily has less than a year left to run on it.
“Alessandro Moggi, Balzaretti’s agent, just thinks about money,” scathed Zamparini to Radio Radio.
“However, at the moment, only Napoli have asked for him.”
Balzaretti, 29, has also been linked with a switch to big-spending Paris-Saint Germain, but has expressed his happiness with remaining in Sicily. The player’s wife works in the French capital as a ballerina.
Lazio and Milan have also been paired with the former Fiorentina defender.
