Roma goalkeeper Gianluca Curci is in pole position to replace Jean Francois Gillet at Bologna.
The Stadio Dall’Ara outfit are looking for a new custodian after selling the Belgian to newly promoted Torino.
The former Italian Under-21 international, now 27, spent last season as a reserve at Roma following loan spells at Siena and Sampdoria.
Curci will have to do battle with Federico Agliardi for the first-choice gloves in 2012-13.
