Zlatan Ibrahimovic will today accept a move from Milan to Paris Saint-Germain, reports the Gazzetta dello Sport.
A fee has already been agreed between the two clubs and discussions regarding personal terms are set to be concluded today.
Ibrahimovic, formerly of Ajax, Juventus, Inter and Barcelona, is then expected in Paris on Wednesday for his medical.
“Tuesday will be an important day,” stated Paris SG director general Leonardo, the man who has been locked in talks with agent Mino Raiola since last week.
The publication adds that Ibrahimovic will earn €12m a season after taxes, but that could increase to €14.5m depending on bonuses.
“The Ibrahimovic to PSG deal still isn’t done, but we’re focused on finalizing it,” agent Raiola told Sport Italia last night. “It is an important transfer and the details are important.”
Ibra is set to cost PSG around €25m after they already handed over €42m to the Diavolo for centre-back Thiago Silva.
“I don not think that anyone expected Ibra to leave after two years, but unfortunately the transfer market is like that,” added the representative.
“The player’s desire is always important, after all, his is the final signature. If Ibra leaves Milan then it means that he approved of the sale.
“Massimiliano Allegri? His relationship with the Milan Coach was always very good.”
Meanwhile, Pescara’s Marco Verratti landed in Paris last night ahead of his move from Pescara.
