Porto defender Rolando has put his name forward to replace Thiago Silva at Milan following the latter’s sale to Paris Saint-Germain.
The Diavolo are looking for a new centre-back and the Portuguese stopper has been linked with the San Siro giants.
“I am waiting for a call from Milan,” the 26-year-old told the Corriere dello Sport. “I’ll only accept that destination if I leave Porto.”
Turkish club Fenerbahce are understood to have made a €10m offer for the centre-back and Milan are ready to bid the same amount. Porto want €15m.
Rolando is currently on €1.1m a season, while the Diavolo are ready to tempt him with an initial salary of €1.4m. His wage will gradually rise.
The Portuguese international has a contract with his current club until 2016 and his rescission clause is set at a massive €30m.
Rolando joined Porto from Belenenses in 2008.
