Marek Hamsik’s agent will reportedly meet with Napoli today or tomorrow, to hold talks with the club over his future.
The Slovakian’s representative Juray Venglos will apparently hold discussion with sporting director Riccardo Bigon, with two specific theories suggested as to why.
The first is that the player will clarify his position at the San Paolo in light of the words expressed by Mino Raiola, another of his agents, that the attacker should leave the Vesuviani this summer.
The second is that the club are ready to make a further adjustment to his contract, even though it was just extended to June 2016 in April.
Napoli are currently in negotiations with teammate Edinson Cavani over improving his earnings at the club.
