Reports claim Lazio will make an effort to sell Mauro Zarate in the summer after losing patience with the frustrating striker.
The 23-year-old was on the end of another telling off from Edy Reja after his selfish display in Wednesday's 2-1 defeat to Roma in the Coppa Italia.
"You can't play by yourself. If you keep doing it, I will take measures," Reja said.
Reja played down his comments yesterday, but it would appear that he is at the end of his tether with Zarate.
"Zarate is Lazio's most important piece of property and he must be safeguarded.
"But my job is to make him improve even through criticism."
Lazio are said to be very unimpressed with the rate of return on the €22m investment they made in 2009.
Liverpool are among the clubs who are apparently interested in Zarate.
Seven League goals in his last one and a half seasons might make the Reds think again.
