Andrea Barzagli “will be in Turin at the start of next week” to complete his transfer to Juventus, said the Wolfsburg man's agent.
The Italy defender has been in negotiations with the Bianconeri and it seems the deal has now been struck.
“The player will be in Turin at the start of next week,” representative Claudio Orlandini told Ansa news agency.
“There are only a few details left to sort out.”
Barzagli has not been called up for this weekend's game against Mainz, so is to all intents and purposes a Juve player.
His contract expires at the end of the season, but Juventus are reportedly ready to pay €1m to have Barzagli in January.
In other transfer news, Chievo have officially signed Colombian striker Fernando Uribe from title-winning Once Caldas.
The forward has just turned 23 and has signed a four-year contract.
Serie B leaders Novara have formally signed Cagliari benchwarmer Alex Pinardi with a contract that expires in 2013.
