Robinho has revealed that Santos did make an offer for him this summer that Milan turned down, an offer that he would always have considered.
The Brazilian was strongly linked with a second return to the club earlier this summer, with delegates from Santos at one stage in Milan talking with Rossonero officials.
However, Milan declared the player was off the market and rejected the Brazilian side’s advances. Whilst confirming this version of events himself, Robinho has refused to close the door on speculation of a move entirely, encouraging Santos to come back in again.
“For Santos I am always available,” the player told Radio 650 in Boston.
“I am good friends with the President, Luis Alvaro, and we talk frequently. It is true that Santos recent asked Milan about signing me, but they refused the offer.
“It is a fact that if in the future there should arrive a new offer, I would be ready to take it into consideration.”
