Mauro Zarate is “absolutely not for sale” despite talk of a row with Edy Reja, insists Lazio President Claudio Lotito.
Reja has repeatedly criticised his star striker in public for being too selfish and having a poor work rate.
The tactician confirmed Zarate will be on the bench in favour of new signing Giuseppe Sculli against Bologna on Sunday, fuelling reports of a move to Juventus.
“There is no Zarate problem. He has never been for sale and is absolutely not for sale, because he is a treasure for Lazio in the very long term,” assured President Lotito.
