Dario Dainelli has officially signed for Chievo after he terminated his contract by mutual consent with Genoa. “I am very happy.”
The 33-year-old defender had spent the last six months on loan at the Bentegodi and notched up only six appearances.
Nonetheless, he terminated his contract with Genoa by mutual consent and has been able to join Chievo permanently as a free agent.
“Finally, it’s official!” wrote Dainelli on the official club website.
“I am very happy. Last season I got on well here and am satisfied with this new opportunity that Chievo have given me.
“Last term the squad showed its value and has been further enriched with players of quality and experience. We’ll do everything to confirm and improve upon that season.”
