Leonardo gave credit to Udinese for a fine performance, but “this defeat does not change my football philosophy.”
Inter had a 100 per cent record in all competition since the Coach took over from Rafa Benitez during the Christmas break.
That came grinding to a halt with today's 3-1 loss at the Stadio Friuli, despite Dejan Stankovic originally opening the scoring.
“It's true there were some counter-attacks and I think much of today's result should be credited to Udinese,” said Leo.
“They controlled the game well and have some very fast players who put us under pressure.
“This defeat does not change my football philosophy, as it can happen after a string of victories. The individual incidents were decisive today.”
