Milan's new signing Urby Emanuelson touched down with a message. “We are much stronger than Inter and coming here is a dream come true.”
The 24-year-old wide man signed a contract until June 2014 today and arrives from Ajax.
“Coming to Milan is a dream come true,” the Dutch starlet said as he went to the stands for tonight's game against Cesena.
“It all happened on Wednesday, the negotiations were closed quickly and now I am here. I'm immediately at the disposal of the Coach and hope to make my debut as soon as possible. I will work hard for my place.
“I can play anywhere, either in midfield or in defence, both the right and left. What do I do best? I'm better when attacking.
“My objective is to win trophies and I feel that I can do that here. I've known Zlatan Ibrahimovic since our time together at Ajax.
“Then there are legends like Gennaro Gattuso and Andrea Pirlo, Clarence Seedorf and Alexandre Pato. I hope they can all teach me something about the sport.”
Emanuelson was asked by fans which side would have the upper hand at San Siro this season.
“We are much stronger than Inter,” he grinned.
