Sampdoria President Riccardo Garrone can't let bygones be bygones with his former protégé Antonio Cassano.
The two fell out massively in October, prompting Garrone to freeze Cassano out of his squad and ask that the player's contract be rescinded.
Cassano was allowed to join Milan in December. He returns to Marassi for the first time since his departure this evening for a Coppa Italia Quarter-Final against Samp.
"I don't have any feeling of consideration or acceptance of his psychological problems above all after what he said during his official unveiling at Milan, which left me without any possibility to say that he is a kid who has values.
"Having said that had he known he would have gone to Milan then he should maybe have insulted me earlier, I can say that the nature of this man is exactly what it has always revealed itself to be."
