Alvaro Pereira has refused to comment on speculation that he is wanted by Napoli and Inter. “I’m just focused on Porto.”
The midfielder is a known transfer target for the two Italian clubs, but he’s remaining calm amidst the speculation that he is Serie A bound.
“I’m a Porto player and I’m not talking about my future,” the Uruguayan international noted after the 0-0 draw with France.
“There are a lot of rumours, but I’m just thinking about training hard for a club which I am very attached to. I’m just focused on Porto.
“I have a number of international colleagues who play in Italy and I watch the championship when I can, but all I am hearing are just rumours.”
The 27-year-old joined Porto in 2009 from Cluj. He’s believed to be valued at around the €10m mark by the Portuguese giants.
