Catania are thought to be on the verge of securing Nacional Montevideo defender Alexis Rolin for €5m, but the agent warns “it’s not concluded yet.”
The 23-year-old Uruguayan has been linked with the likes of Milan, Inter, Lazio and Genoa, but reports emerged this weekend that Catania had done enough to win the bidding war.
“Catania have not yet concluded the deal for Rolin,” agent Vincenzo D’Ippolito told Itasportpress.
“There are unprofessional people on the market who are not telling the truth. Catania still have to present a concrete proposal, as so far they have limited themselves to asking for information.
“Rolin is worth €5m and Nacional will only release him on a permanent basis. He is of interest to Lazio, Genoa and a German club.
“He is a very strong player, a versatile defender and can play on the flank or in the middle. Anyone who signs him will be getting a great deal.”
