Federico Balzaretti has refused to name Roma’s objectives for the new season. “We’re just thinking about winning and entertaining.”
The Giallorossi have opted to go down the Zdenek Zeman attacking football path again after the Czech Coach replaced Luis Enrique as boss following his resignation.
“I don’t want to start drawing up League tables before the championship has even started,” the summer signing from Palermo noted.
“We are just thinking about winning and entertaining.
“This is a place that easily gets excited and this enthusiasm is certainly a fine starting point for us to work.
“We as players, however, have the necessity to keep our feet on the ground.”
Roma were one of the League’s big disappointments last season as their seventh place finish saw them miss out of qualification for European football this term.
