Genoa are the latest club to have been offered Marco Borriello by Roma, reports Il Secolo XIX.
The Italian striker has been made available for transfer after returning to Rome following a six-month loan spell at Juventus.
With just seven days left until the window closes, the Giallorossi are keen to lower their wage bill after bringing in Mattia Destro from Genoa, via Siena.
Roma have apparently told the Rossoblu that they can have him on loan and they’ll also cover part of his wages. Genoa would apparently only have to find €1.3m a season for his salary.
La Magica are also said to have contacted Milan, Juventus, Fiorentina and Tottenham to assess their interest in the 30-year-old.
He could be a last minute option for Juventus if the Old Lady fail to sign either Manchester City’s Edin Dzeko or Athletic Bilbao’s Fernando Llorente.
