It's widely reported that Espanyol's Didac Vilà is the full-back Milan are targeting for the January transfer window.
Vice-President Adriano Galliani today denied negotiations for Genoa defender Domenico Criscito.
“The full-back we have chosen plays abroad and can participate in the Champions League.”
It's believed the target is Espanyol left-back Vilà, who is worth approximately €1m.
Reports suggest Galliani is heading to Barcelona for talks with Espanyol and the 22-year-old talent.
He has played for Spain at Under-19 and Under-20 levels, so would act as a prospect for the future as well as a short-term replacement for the injured Gianluca Zambrotta.
Milan have been very active in the January window, bringing in Antonio Cassano, Urby Emanuelson and Mark Van Bommel.
