There are reports Giampaolo Pazzini has signed for Inter and will complete his medical tomorrow.
Sampdoria initially rejected an offer of €6m plus full ownership of Jonathan Biabiany, but negotiations have continued throughout today.
According to the latest reports from Sky Sport Italia, a deal has been struck for €13m, Biabiany and youth team prospect Luca Caldirola.
Pazzini's agent was spotted leaving the Inter transfer headquarters this evening and it's suggested he signed a four-and-a-half-year contract worth €2.5m per season.
However, Sampdoria director Doriano Tosi also walked out of the meeting with Nerazzurri representatives and was less encouraging.
“We're a long way away from an agreement. Leave me alone,” he snapped to reporters.
The Nerazzurri are also expected to complete the signing of midfielder Houssine Kharja from Genoa today.
He replaces Sulley Muntari, who is heading to Sunderland.
