Sky Sport Italia are claiming that Manchester City have signed Douglas Maicon from Italian giants Inter.
Reports yesterday stated that the two clubs were discussing terms [12] and an agreement is said to have been reached.
The Nerazzurri will net around €4m in cash, but that fee could increase depending on whether a number of bonus clauses are activated.
Maicon, a Brazilian international right-back, is understood to have agreed a three-year deal with the Premiership champions.
Inter were looking to offload the player given that his contract was set to expire in June 2013 – meaning he could have left at the end of this season on a free transfer.
