Giandomenico Mesto is on the verge of joining Napoli from Genoa, according to the Corriere dello Sport.
The 30-year-old full-back will arrive for a fee of around €700,000 and will join Omar El Kaddouri and Valon Behrami as arrivals at Stadio San Paolo this summer.
The Italy international has played over a century of games for Il Grifone since joining them in 2008, becoming famed for his consistent performances and tireless running.
Mesto and Napoli boss Walter Mazzarri will be reunited after working together for three years between 2004 and 2007, when the 50-year-old was in charge at Reggina.
