It’s reported that Napoli have already proposed a three-year contract extension to Walter Mazzarri, but the Coach is considering his options.
The tactician’s current deal expires in June 2013 and President Aurelio De Laurentiis wants to avoid a similar situation to the past, when negotiations and uncertainties dragged on for months.
According to today’s edition of Tuttosport, Napoli have already drawn up a new three-year contract.
However, Mazzarri is not thought to be convinced and wants to wait to see how this season develops.
The Coach has always stated he does not like long-term contracts with clubs, as he wants both parties to be able to evaluate the situation every summer.
