Udinese have confirmed Luis Muriel will be out of action for two-and-a-half months after a micro-fracture was discovered.
The Colombian had been feeling pain in his hip and went to Barcelona for a specialist consultation.
He already revealed the news was bad via his Twitter account [12], admitting he’d be sidelined for a couple of months, but did not explain the circumstances.
This evening Udinese released a statement noting that following tests “a micro-fracture” was discovered at the top of the left femur.
“The prognosis for a return to football activity is circa two-and-a-half months, but a better idea of the situation can be evaluated in two to three weeks.”
