Napoli’s Colombian winger Juan Zuniga is still waiting to sign a new contract, according to his agent.
The 26 year-old penned a five-year contract in 2009 after arriving from Siena, but despite becoming a key part of Walter Mazzarri's side since then, negotiations on a new deal haven't got very far.
“We talked about a renewal a few months ago,” representative Riccardo Calleri told the Gazzetta dello Sport.
“If the appropriate proposal arrives, we will take it into account. Otherwise the player will honour his contract - which expires in 2014 - and then leave.”
Zuniga featured in 31 Serie A games last season and started seven Champions League fixtures.
