It’s renewal time at Juventus with director general Beppe Marotta and Gigi Buffon set for new contracts.
According to Tuttosport, the official will be handed an extension until June 2015 as reward for his work in Turin.
Marotta moved to the Old Lady in the summer of 2010 after leaving Sampdoria. Although not all of his signings have been a success, some of his buys were key to Scudetto success last season.
Once the 55-year-old puts pen to paper, the club’s attention will then switch to Italian international Buffon.
His present agreement expires in June, but he’s set to accept a cut to his €6m a year salary in order to remain in Turin.
