Genoa Coach Gigi De Canio is hardly inconsolable about the sacking of his Palermo counterpart Giuseppe Sannino.
Former Siena boss Sannino was dismissed by Rosanero patron Maurizio Zamparini yesterday after his side collected one point from the first nine available in Serie A.
“Zamparini's sacking of Sannino? I've seen worse,” De Canio commented in an interview with Radio Sportiva.
“We've already seen sackings before the beginning of the season or on the first day in Serie A, so its nothing new.”
De Canio, a veteran of 14 different appointments, saw his own team lose 3-1 to Juventus yesterday afternoon.
