Gian Piero Gasperini has reportedly been granted a special clause in his Palermo contract – compensation should he be sacked!
The former Inter tactician has been handed the Rosanero hotseat after the Sicilian club opted for yet another coaching change.
Giuseppe Sannino became President Maurizio Zamparini’s latest victim after the axe-happy chief was unhappy with just one point from their opening three games.
Gasperini, who played for the club as a player for five years from 1978, was approached after his dismissal at Inter last season.
It is unclear how much Palermo would have to pay the Coach in ‘damages’ should he be dismissed by Zamparini.
