Ezequiel Lavezzi has admitted that he misses the atmosphere of playing for Napoli, but he has no regrets about joining Paris Saint-Germain – not yet anyway.
The Argentine was a fan favourite for the Azzurri, but opted to sign for the French giants at the end of the last campaign.
“I must admit that the atmosphere of the Stadio San Paolo can not be found elsewhere,” he told Sky Sport Italia.
“I took the decision to leave, it was a choice I made. We’ll have to wait for a bit before we can say whether I made a mistake or not. But I think I took a decision that I had to make.
“I’ll always thank the people of Naples for the way they treated me. I certainly wish the squad well as they are a great group.”
